Adrienne's Tom Ka Gai
(0 ratings)
Recipe by:
Adrienne Barnett
Fragrant, spicy and absolutely delicious Thai chicken soup. I've eaten a bit of Thai, and I think this comes very close. Add noodles if you like with the fresh coriander.
Amazing simple Thai tofu

Recipe by:
ROSEGRABOWSKI
You'd never guess it's tofu! Peanut and ginger flavours combine to create a wonderful Thai-flavoured dish that everyone will love. Serve over white rice.
Authentic Thai cashew chicken
(0 ratings)
Recipe by:
FAIRBORN
I adapted this recipe from a cooking class I took while I stayed in Bangkok. You can adjust the veggies and spiciness to your personal preference and you can substitute firm tofu for chicken. Serve over jasmine rice. Adjust the amount of chilli garlic paste for spiciness.
Authentic Thai Tom Yum Soup
(0 ratings)
Recipe by:
STEVE ALDER
An authentic Thai hot and sour soup. Do not attempt to omit the coriander, as this is essential. Use thai basil instead of regular basil if you can find it. Tom yum paste is hot, so try the soup before adding the chilli and decide if any extra heat is required. You can buy the paste in Asian supermarkets or there's a brand called "Thai taste" at Waitrose. This is well worth the trouble!
Black Rice Pudding

Recipe by:

For those who really like sweet food, you may also top the pudding off with a drizzle of coconut cream or a mild fruit such as bananas. This is a traditional recipe my friend's mother brought with her from Thailand. Some of the ingredients might be hard to find in areas without Chinese or Asian supermarkets. There are a number of online retailers that carry these ingredients.
Chargrilled Aubergine with Thai Basil Tofu

Little Thai-style kebabs are great for a simple supper, or as a nibble with drinks.

This Thai curry, flavoured with tamarind and coconut milk, is ready in under an hour. Serve over plain white rice.
Chicken Thai Green Curry
Reviews(2)
Recipe by:
Jan Cutler
Fragrant Thai green curry paste transforms chicken and plump miniature aubergines and courgettes into an exotic meal, with the minimum of preparation. For a real treat, serve the curry with creamy coconut rice. Delicious!
Chicken, Tom Yum and Karengo Soup
(0 ratings)
Recipe by:
Ian Braund
This makes a huge amount but would be great for a Lunar New Year party! It's a delicious Thai-inspired chicken and seaweed soup flavoured with ginger, lime leaves and lemon grass. Garnish with fresh coriander. You can buy tom yum soup paste and karengo at Chinese, Thai or Asian supermarkets.

These are so tasty! You have to try them! Minced chicken seasoned with spring onion, coriander, chilli sauce and lemon juice for a uniquely Thai flavour.
Ginger Duck with Noodle Salad and Spicy Peanut Dressing
Reviews(1)
Recipe by:
Jan Cutler
Thai-style seasonings bring piquant flavours to this fast but elegant salad. Succulent roast duck tops a fabulous mix of soft noodles and crunchy bean sprouts, baby corn and pak choi, tossed with chilli. Delicious!

This is my take on a Thai soup recipe -- minus the gluten and more of the good stuff!
Green curry

Recipe by:

This stir-fry dish is both spicy and aromatic. Add more green curry paste if you dare. Try it with prawns or scallops for a change. Serve with jasmine rice instead of noodles if you prefer.

Ken's Spicy Chicken Thai Green Curry

Recipe by:

This chicken curry is very easy to prepare, and tastes just like the curries you order at Thai restaurants. As an added bonus -- you can make it all in one pot, so it's easy to wash up afterwards.
